American Friends of SAE builds a community of supporters through recruitment of like-minded lay leaders, alumni, Jewish philanthropists, foundations, and organizations, in order to raise significant funds to support SAE's work.
Our mission
The Society for Advancement in Education, Jerusalem (SAE) provides Israeli youth the opportunity to excel academically, socially, and ethically.
It offers a high-quality education through a network of 18 unique schools and educational residences, and a wide range of educational programs.
The SAE serves students from the country’s diverse sectors, including a large proportion of those from the
socio-economic and geographic periphery.
The SAE is an essential part of creating a better Israel.
The American Friends of SAE (AFS), formerly the American Friends of Kidum (AFK), is central in spreading awareness of the Society for Advancement of Education's activities and mission among individuals in the U.S.A.
AFS builds a community of supporters through recruitment of like-minded lay leaders, alumni, Jewish philanthropists, foundations, and organizations, in order to raise significant funds to support SAE’s work, and it is the channel through which these funds can be transferred, tax deductible, to Israel.
