Background
Ein Karmit Boarding School, owned by the Association for Educational Advancement, was established in 2001 as the successor to the iconic “Karmit Boarding School.” Nestled in a picturesque natural forest in the Jerusalem hills, near the Beit Zayit Dam, Ein Karmit provides a nurturing environment for its students.

The School
Students of the boarding school attend the six-year Ein Karem High School, which is committed to equality of opportunity for all while fostering excellence and positive achievement. The school includes both middle and upper divisions, offering a wide range of academic tracks. Students engage in innovative teaching methods that promote independent research, involvement, and environmental responsibility.
The school provides social and academic support tailored to the diversity and unique characteristics of its students. It offers several excellence programs that allow for personal and social growth. Additionally, it operates an advanced special education framework with proven success.
The school also features Mofet science-oriented classes, where students enhance their studies in science and mathematics, beginning university courses as early as 9th grade. By the end of 12th grade, students in this program can graduate with numerous credits towards a bachelor’s degree at Bar-Ilan University, along with a highly advanced matriculation certificate.
