Reut School

Reut is a six-year public secondary school that prides itself on fostering tolerance and opening its doors to students from across the religious–traditional–secular spectrum.

About Us

At Reut, everyone belongs. Religious, secular, and traditional students come together, seamlessly integrating and feeling at home just as they are—just as you are. Reut is a true home, where people of different beliefs connect and engage in meaningful and respectful dialogue.

Jewish culture and its humanistic values are central to the curriculum and social activities, with the school’s Beit Midrash for Social Leadership at its heart.

Our educational team is professional, compassionate, and deeply committed. We are fortunate to have dedicated teachers who joined Reut driven by its vision of uniting Israeli society through personal, ethical, and academic support. Each student is treated as an individual with unique strengths, supported to excel in the best possible way.

We believe meaningful learning grows out of personal connections. At Reut, every student receives tailored support to cultivate their talents.

Personalized Paths for Success in Middle School

7th-grade students choose from several tracks, designed to deepen their strengths and preferences early on:

  • Scientific Excellence Track: Accelerated studies in physics and computer science.
  • Humanities Track: Expanded studies in humanities, philosophy, and Jewish thought.
  • Social Activism Track: Developing critical thinking skills and encouraging social engagement and change.

Additional enrichment options for grades 7–9 include art, theater, film, the “Amirim” excellence program, and sports (soccer/basketball).

Students in grades 8 and 9 study Oral Torah in a Beit Midrash format, learning in pairs (chavruta). Starting in 9th grade, they participate in academic programs and the Young Entrepreneurs initiative.

Striving for Academic Excellence in High School

Reut fosters broad knowledge, critical thinking, curiosity, and a pursuit of excellence, aiming to prepare every student for the challenges of the 21st century.

The school offers a wide range of advanced 5-unit matriculation tracks, including:
Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science (regional program), Literature, Geography, Theater, Film, Social Sciences (Psychology and Sociology).

Social Activism in Action

Social involvement is part of Reut’s DNA. Students initiate and participate in projects that contribute to the community and become social change leaders driven by understanding and empathy.

Examples of community projects include:

  • A Window to Equality: A student-led initiative to promote accessibility. Students collaborate with local businesses to improve accessibility in public spaces.
  • The Seniors’ Class: A dedicated class for senior citizens held at the school, featuring courses taught by Reut’s teachers and educational trips. The seniors also participate in school events and activities alongside the students.
