Boyar School

Boyar School is a unique institution in Israel, inspiring creativity and innovation in its students, who come from all over the country. The school equips them with tools to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

For six decades, Boyar has welcomed students from across Israel—a diverse human mosaic—dedicated to realizing their potential and becoming leaders in society.

Since its establishment in the 1960s, Boyar has instilled in its students the values of justice, diverse perspectives, and social involvement, emphasizing love and respect for others, love of the land, and acceptance of differences. Alongside these values, Boyar nurtures academic excellence, a passion for knowledge, and broad intellectual horizons. Its diverse curriculum integrates science, humanities, and arts at a high level.

Innovation is at the heart of Boyar. The school engages in research and development, driving educational initiatives that embody creativity, innovation, and excellence. All students learn using tablets, laptops, and classroom projectors, and both students and teachers apply principles of collaboration, interdisciplinarity, proactivity, and reflection to academic, social, and emotional processes.

The school and boarding facility are home to around 1,000 students, from grades 7–12, hailing from Jerusalem and across Israel. Boyar’s graduates contribute significantly to the development of the country and are involved in all facets of Israeli life.
