Ulpanat Talia

Ulpanat Talia

Established in 2009 (5769) by the Association for Educational Advancement in Jerusalem, Ulpanat Talia was founded to provide a comprehensive educational, Torah-based, and academic framework for gifted and outstanding girls.

Ulpanat Talia is part of the Amalia Educational Campus, which was established in 1970 by the association to serve as a boarding school campus for religious girls.

The ulpana, which also includes a boarding facility, has educated numerous graduates who have gone on to make impressive contributions at the highest levels of Israeli society.

Two Central Educational Tracks at Ulpanat Talia

  1. Academic Track:
Enables students to complete a bachelor’s degree in one of two areas:

    • B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Jerusalem College of Technology (Lev Campus).
    • A bachelor’s degree in various disciplines through the Open University.
  2. Technological Track:
Prepares students with an advanced technological matriculation certificate (in addition to a top-tier academic matriculation certificate) in 15-unit programs in Biotechnology and Architecture.

The ulpana operates with reverence for God, love, and unwavering commitment to Torah and mitzvot.

The educational approach is built on trust, mutual respect, dialogue, and partnership between the students and the ulpana staff, as well as among the students themselves.

Leadership and Vision

Ulpanat Talia is led by Chasi Pri’el alongside a dedicated and caring professional staff.

While engaging in complex and meaningful learning, the students also enjoy a vibrant ulpana experience that helps shape their personalities from a deep, open, and thoughtful perspective.

The Boarding Facility

The boarding facility is a central and significant aspect of life at the ulpana, shaping the daily routine. It allows students to express themselves fully and build genuine friendships through deep connections. It enables girls from across the country to attend the ulpana, bringing their unique talents to the educational framework.

The boarding facility serves as a second home, offering both essential living support and emotional care.

Boarding activities include values-based programs, extracurricular activities, social events, and Torah enrichment in various fields.

In the past three years, the boarding facility underwent significant renovations to meet modern living standards.

The boarding program is managed with talent and love by Renana Zviri, along with a team of house mothers, social workers, a nurse, and counselors.
