First Lesson

First Lesson Program

“First Lesson” is a program designed to impart knowledge and develop life skills through hands-on experiences in entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, project planning, and creating business plans.

Since 2021 (paused this year due to the war), the program has been implemented in several middle schools in the Druze sector, in collaboration with the Druze Education Division of the Ministry of Education, the Directorate for Economic and Social Development for the Druze and Circassian Sectors, and Druze local authorities such as Hurfeish, Kisra-Sumei, Yarka, and Ein al-Asad.

The program aims to expose Druze youth to the world of entrepreneurship and innovation as part of developing a future vision and exploring diverse career opportunities.

Program Structure

  • 17 School-Based Sessions: Participants engage in a structured curriculum that guides them through planning a business or social initiative, from ideation to presenting a business plan.

During the program, participants gain hands-on experience in critical workplace skills, including:

  • Decision-making

By engaging with entrepreneurial processes, the program equips Druze youth with essential tools to navigate the dynamic landscape of modern employment and innovation.
